Our Hiring Process

We believe interviewing should be a two-way conversation. Our goal is to help you understand the role, the team, and what it's like to work at Circle, while giving us the opportunity to learn about your experience and strengths.

Interviewing at Circle typically includes a mix of live, conversational interviews over video and a skills assessment, such as a take-home assignment, presentation, or working session depending on the role.

For assessments requiring significant time investment (5+ hours), we compensate candidates up to $1,000 USD.

A typical interview process at Circle looks something like this:

Throughout the process, we evaluate not only your skills and experience, but also how you communicate, solve problems, collaborate with a globally distributed team, take ownership, and align with our values.

We take hiring decisions seriously and seek input from multiple team members throughout the process, which means most processes take approximately 4-6 weeks from start to finish.

It’s important to us to be as transparent as possible throughout the interview process, and we aim to provide feedback β€” both positive and constructive β€” to every candidate that takes the time to meet with us.
